A Central Laboratory has been established for Materials Research. State of the Art facilities available are X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometer, X-Ray Diffractometer and Atomic Force Microscope

Technology is available for the commercial production of this instrument. All available brands are either mechanical devices or imported, making use of sophisticated design and fragile components The novel designand technology of Digital Refractometer available at Department of Physics, University of Lucknow is cost effective and robust.
