Computer Science & Engineering

The Faculty of Engineering) was re-established in 2017, as one of the faculties of the University. The Faculty has five branches of Engineering i.e. Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics & Communication and Computer Science & Engineering. With an intake of 90 in computer Science & Engineering and an intake of 60 in all the other four branches. First batch of students was admitted to all the five branches through UPSEE-2017 conducted by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. Sanctioned seats of all the five branches were filled on the day one of the counselling and all the students reported for admission on the due date. The classes were started as announced and being run smoothly with all the desired infrastructural and academic facilities in position.

The faculty of Engineering has a very majestic three floor building which has the capacity to meet building requirements of the faculty till 2019. To cater future needs another building is in the pipeline for which fund allocation has already been made and it is expected that this building will be ready by Dec. 2019.

Faculty of Engineering is located in the second campus of the University in Jankipuram. It accommodates Faculty of Law, Faculty of Management and several other professional courses in addition to Faculty of Engineering. Large stretches of this area is covered by green belt. The Eco-friendly practices and teaching, learning are planned to be combined together to promote sustainable development. Furthermore, initiatives have also been taken towards energy conservation and tapping of solar energy in the campus.

Department of Computer Science & Engineering is the largest department. The Department offers a 4 years course, B.Tech.in Computer Sc. & Engineering, with an intake of 90 students. Now-a-days Computer Science & Engineering is the most sought-after branch in the country. The Department has very experienced and well qualified faculty members and several well equipped laboratories catering to the needs of not only CSE students but computer needs of all other branches. All computer laboratories have LAN connectivity which facilitates internet usage. With support from State Government the campus wide Networking facility through WI-Fi is also in progress.

  • Computer Laboratory: The department has a computing laboratory with one server, 35 nodes having latest configurations along with necessary software and printers etc.
  • Computer organization Laboratory: To provide hardware training to the students.
