The Shankar Dayal sharma Institute of Democracy, University of Lucknow will focus on following broad overlapping topics that are of great importance to the country: energy and Environment; Right to Information; Sustainable Development; Agriculture, Food, and Water; Industry and Economy; and Internet, E-Governance.

At the same time, the Institute shall explore Election Reforms, New Education Policy-2020, Institutions, Governance, and Social Justice. 

We also anticipate adding other areas with the advancement of the Institute.
