Achievements

• Students qualified civil services like IAS, IPS, PCS and are posted in various capacities.
• Students are qualifying NET, JRF’s.
• Students had been awarded Ph.D’s almost in every year.
• Students are selected by Higher Education Service Commission and are working as Asstt. Professors in various degree colleges.
• Many students had been honoured by getting more than five Gold Medals.
• Excavations were conducted by Prof. D.P. Tewari on several sites from last about ten years.
• One site was also excavated by Prof. Anil Kumar.
• Prof. S.K. Jaiswal and Prof. Sadhana Sharma joined as NSS programme officers in previous years.
• Teachers of the Department contributed their duties as Assistant Proctor s in Univesity.
• Lectures are delivered by the teachers of the Department in Academic Staff College, University of Lucknow for Refresher Course/Oriental Courses.
