Intermediate or equivalent examination The minimum marks required for General and Other Backward Classes candidates is 40%* of marks and for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes is 33%* of marks. *This percentage is based upon total marks of all the subjects.
- Candidates have to select three subjects from any three of the following groups opting.
- Only one subject from a group can be selected.
- The candidate cannot offer more than two literatures (Hindi, Functional Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Functional Sanskrit, French, Urdu, Arabic,
Persian) Candidates opting for Statistics will also have to offer Mathematics.
